Pistachio harvest began from the gardens of Sarvestan city
According to the IRIB news agency, Fars Center, the horticultural expert in charge of agricultural organization in Sarvestan city said:

At present, 5,534 hectares of Sarvestan lands are dedicated to pistachio cultivation, of which 3,949 hectares are fruitful and 1,585 hectares are non-fruitful.
It is expected that 7,000 to 8,000 tons of fresh pistachios will be harvested in Sarvestan this year.
Ehsani added: “This year, rains during the time of flower inoculation and temperature fluctuations have reduced pistachio production by 50% in Sarvestan city.”
Pistachio harvest begins in September and enters the consumer market as a commodity, but most of the pistachio product is sold dry in October in domestic and foreign markets.
