Khorasan Razavi Pistachio Smile to Asian and European Markets / Crop area increases

According to the Tasnim news agency from Sabzevar, last year the export of pistachios was 380 billion tomans in Khorasan Razavi province, which is expected to increase one and a half times this year.
After oil, Iranian pistachio is the most important export product of Iran, which can be owned in many markets in the world by increasing the area under cultivation and production with scientific support.
Khoshab city with 36,000 hectares of fields and gardens, 225 deep and semi-deep wells, 265 aqueducts and 2 permanent rivers is one of the prominent agricultural hubs in western Khorasan Razavi.
The city has increased the area under cultivation from 2,000 hectares to 12,000 hectares by changing the cultivation pattern of pistachio crop from the last 6 years, and now 15 pistachio processing factories are operating in Khoshab.
