He said: Pistachio production in Khash city is an important factor for the prosperity of production, employment and household economy and has a valuable role in reducing water consumption.
The director of Khash Agricultural Organization stated: Every year, pistachio harvest in this city starts from the beginning of September and continues until the end of October.

Kamali stated: It is predicted that 3,000 tons of pistachios will be harvested in Khash this year.
He said: Pistachio cultivation is common in Poshtkuh, Dasht-e Abkhan, Goharkuh and Temp areas of Khash city and meets the needs of the people of Sistan and Baluchestan province and many other areas every year with significant production.
Director of Khash Agricultural Jihad continued: There are 6 pistachio recording centers in this city that do the work of separating wet pistachio skin, defective and dry pistachios, and finally high quality pistachios enter the market.
Khash is located in Sistan and Baluchestan, 185 km south of Zahedan, the capital of this province.
